I first met Randy winter over 20 years ago, when we were both teachers at the Maud Booth Family Day Care center in North Hollywood. Even then, randy was well respected by all and dedicated to his work. What a wonderful coincidence that randy and his family moved onto our street two years ago. Even though the Winters are the newest on the block, they have become the pivot point for the rest of us — organizing barbecues during summer holidays and caroling at Christmas. During the Northridge earthquake, we suffered substantial damage. Randy’s company rebuilt the chimney, replaced a wooden garage door with aluminum, replaced windows and front door, replaced linoleum floors with ceramic tile, put a new ceiling light and fan in our master bedroom, installed porch lights, patched cracks in the walls, and painted inside and out. When I was in college, I spent three years working for a general contractor. What I learned during that time is that jobs don’t start on time, they don’t finish on time, the crew is unreliable, careless, and messy and there will undoubtedly be significant cost overruns. I have never been proven so wrong before. When I signed the contract nearly a month before the start date, Randy gave me an estimated date for the work to commence. He started on that exact date at 7:30 a.m. sharp. He told me that the project would take approximately 3 weeks start to finish barring any unforeseen problems or add-ons. Well, there were significant add-ons, which we requested, and he completed the work in only two weeks. I was not billed even $1 more that we had contractually agreed on. Randy kept me informed on a daily basis as to the progress. To say Randy’s crew was outstanding is an understatement. They showed up to the job on time every day and gave 100% while they were there. They were courteous, polite and very respectful of how their work impedes on your everyday life. My biggest concern in doing this project was the safety of my 2-1/2 year old and 5 month old. Randy’s crew was very conscientious of the fact that there were young children in the house and cleaned up items that could pose a safety hazard nearly every hour, they took great strides to protect the rest of the house from noise, dust, and debris. The quality of tile work was fantastic. I had an open-air loft installed. My greatest fear was that when it was completed it would look like an add-on. The transition from existing structure to the loft was seamless. It looks like it was there from the original date of construction. My family, friends and neighbors can’t believe how incredible it looks. My neighbors are already lining up to call Randy.

We would like to personally thank you and your crew for a job well done. Your painters, carpenters, roofers, electricians and other workers were all very professional, neat and courteous, and finished our multiple projects in a timely manner. We love the addition of our front entrance, it changed a rather ordinary entrance into a very attractive focal point of our home’s exterior. We can’t begin to tell you how many compliments we have received. Our backyard patio covers also look great. You were able to turn our desires of total and filtered shade into a reality. The combination solid and slatted covers look great and allow us the choice of enjoying shade or partial sun. Our interior paint job turned out perfectly thanks to your expert painters and your own personal color consultation. The paint job is accented by the beautiful crown moulding and carefully installed overhead can lighting which both give our home a stylish look. We were very pleased with the entire construction process – from the initial consultation through the demolition, construction and clean-up phases.
