Randal G. Winter

Randal G. Winter founded Randal G Winter Construction in 1980 and has spent over 35 years in the construction industry as a Licensed General Contractor. He holds licenses in eight different trades including: Concrete, Drywall, Electrical, Landscaping, Painting, Plumbing, Tile and Asbestos. He is certified by the EPA for Lead in addition to being certified as an ICC Building Inspector and Plans Examiner.

As a General Contractor, Randal enjoys seeing the progress and final results of a well-orchestrated project. Having acted as an expert witness for the Contractors State Licensing Board, he saw a need to set a higher standard in the Remodeling Industry and strives to serve as a role model for other Remodeling Contractors. Randal continues to build a strong team of qualified individuals with exceptional organizational abilities.

Randal holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA, served in Vietnam for the U.S. Army and was awarded a Bronze Star while attached to the 101st Airborne Division. Randal is active in his community and is an Adjunct Professor at the College of the Canyons.


Debbie Young

Debbie Young joined Randal G. Winter Construction, Inc. in April 2013.

Before Randal G. Winter Construction, Inc., Debbie owned her own building design company in Santa Clarita for 17 years. Her company provided design and full working drawings for residential and smaller commercial projects. That experience was a perfect fit for Randal G. Winter Construction since they specialize in residential and small commercial projects. Her past experience now allows Randal G. Winter Construction to offer full design/ build services from the beginning design concept all the way through the completion of construction. Debbie is responsible for creating plans to guide clients through the design; complete full working drawings; obtain building permits; estimate projects and assist with questions in the field.

Debbie holds a Bachelor of Architecture and is a licensed Architect.

Kathy Lopez joined Randal G. Winter Construction as Project Engineer in 2017.

Kathy is an integral part of our team and her responsibilities include everything from budgeting and estimating to scheduling and customer relations. She can often be found either in the field or the office, interacting with subcontractors, vendors, crew members, and clients to ensure that projects are on schedule and within budget.

Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal State Northridge.


With over twenty-five years of professional experience in administration with an emphasis on accounting, human resources, employee relations, personnel development, and team building, Kara is the office manager for Randal G. Winter Construction, Inc.

Kara holds a certificate in accounting, an associates degree in design and product development, and a bachelor’s degree in business management.

Sean Himes

Project Manager

Sean Himes began his journey with Randal G. Winter Construction, Inc. in 2009 and after three years left to garner additional experience in the construction industry. He returned to Randal G. Winter Construction as Project Manager in February 2016.

Sean’s responsibilities include coordinating and running all aspects of a project, which includes Randal G. Winter Construction Employees and Subcontractors. He ensures timeliness of a project through ordering materials, supplies and equipment to ensure the crew onsite stays productive, efficient and delivers quality to the client. Sean maintains direct contact with the Client, whether it’s for scheduling or selecting finishes so that the experience remains positive throughout the construction process.

Before Randal G Winter Construction, Sean was with AMG Construction Inc., which delivered construction projects ranging from $750,000 to $14 million. Sean feels that his time with AMG Construction contributed significantly to his experience as a contractor. He started as a Project Engineer and worked himself up to Project Manager. Juggling multiple multi-million dollar projects at once has provided Sean the experience and confidence to maintain composure under pressure while paying strict attention to the details.

Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Associate of Science in Fire Technology, is LEED AP Certified, OSHA Certified, and First Aid/CPR Instructor Certified.
